Hale Kamaole unit #102 is in South Kihei, just minutes from minutes from Wailea,
Makena, and some of the most beautiful beaches on Maui.
1 Bed, 1 Bath condo has a King size bed and all the amenities. The condo has
been renovated from top to bottom with 2 new Ductless Split AC systems that are
very quiet, ceiling fans, new carpet in the bedroom, new couch, new dining table,
new appliances, and new upper cabinets in July 2024 (new pictures to follow).
We offer a fully stocked kitchen, and the bathroom has a walk-in shower, it’s
perfect for 2 people. Sorry but we do not allow any pets.
Our goal is a clean and comfortable condo to make your stay feel like you’re at
home in our home.
Got a hitch in your giddy up? HK Unit #102 is on the ground floor which makes
coming and going easy with no steps, and free parking that is just outside your
door. There is an outdoor shower nearby to wash the sand off when coming
home from the beach.
The kitchen is fully stocked, with all the necessary dishware, glassware,
silverware and utensils, cookware to cook in, coffee maker, power blender,
toaster, electric tea kettle etc. so pop a cork or make a cocktail!
When it’s time to head to the beach, you are equipped with beach chairs,
umbrella, coolers/ice packs, boogie boards, beach towels, beach bags, beach
mat and even plastic containers and zip lock baggies to bring your lunch in!
The Hale Kamaole condominium is a very nice complex and nicely manicured,
you’ll enjoy 2 swimming pools with shade, loungers, shower and bathrooms,
tennis/pickle-ball court, BBQs, and lots of lawn with expansive views.
Some other comforts of home include a new front load washer and dryer for
those that pack light allowing for more room in your suitcase for those souvenirs!
We do provide quality linens, towels, beach towels and laundry detergent. Soap,
shampoo, and TP are provided to get you started. We try to keep coffee and
sugar on hand, as well as oil and spices and some usable condiments get left
behind.
Kihei is a laid-back beach town and Kamaole III Beach is just a minutes’ walk
across the street. You'll find a fantastic beach, park like lawn to kick back and
watch the most beautiful sunsets and whale watching. With easy water access for snorkeling and turtles right out front and boogie boarding on the right side of
the beach.
So come and enjoy relaxation on the lanai with a cold drink or grab a beach chair
and your drink for a Maui sunset just across the street.
Our property is individually owned, uniquely decorated, and meticulously cared
for. Some of our large artwork prints are from a local Kihei artist along with our
own photography from our trips to Maui.
Within a few minutes’ drive there are more than a dozen beautiful beaches to
choose from in the Kihei, Wailea and Makena area offering a variety of activities
like lounging, swimming, snorkeling, and diving. Boat tours, world class golf
course and a variety of other activities all within minutes of our condo. The best
part is the easy access and less crowds.
Feel like a Shave Ice? Just 2 blocks, (or just an 8-minute walk) to town, you will
find lots of shops, bakery, and delicious fine and family dining. Our guest book
includes additional information and points of interest.
We are very close to The Shops at Wailea for an unbeatable experience of
shopping, Polynesian show, and other entertainment in the courtyard. There are
nice restaurants and free Lei making classes, wood carving, coconut husking etc.
Smart TV and cable TV, high speed internet, 24 hr. Security patrol and digital
keypad door lock are provided for your comfort and safety.
Our sliding Lanai door is a hurricane door which helps to buffer any sounds,
you’ll mostly hear birds over any traffic which is just a 2-lane light traffic road.
There is a lit-up crosswalk to safely access the beach which is directly across the
street.

  Our stay at Hale Kamaole #102 was excellent. The updated and beautifully decorated unit had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including a refrigerator with an automatic ice maker (so important for afternoon mai tais), beach bags and reusable shopping bags. The second air conditioner in the living area was a welcome addition when needed. The unit location was ideal, making whale watching from the lanai easy (bring binoculars for optimal viewing), and just across the street from Kamaole 3 beach. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped (beach chairs, etc). We would happily stay again. The property management were excellent as well, answering our questions and even letting us use their fridge when we changed units on site (102 was not available for our 2nd week).

  We went to Maui specifically for scuba diving. We chose Hale Kamaole because I could walk to the Kehei boat dock and non Diving hubby could sleep in. It was wonderful in the evening to walk across the street and see the sunset, with the fold-up chairs supplied in the condo. Sunset there is very special; to watch young and old, families and groups, everyone one having Aloha Spirit: such a wonderful daily event!
  Our unit was stocked well; not just with the obvious needed items, but with other extras that made it being just like home.
  The pots and pans and kitchen appliances were all high quality. Towels were thick and thirsty. Every light switch was labeled so it was easy to get to “know” the home. The owners also left a binder with local info on attractions, things to do, local spots, etc. The pool was clean, and the manager was pleasant/caring when we had a question. I would be happy to return to this property.

  Great condo. Arrived after hours with no problem accessing. Talked with staff and secured a late checkout for a small fee. Condo is clean and well maintained. Also stocked with amenities towels, blankets, cookware, plates and utensils. In condo appliances make for a convenient stay home away from home, wash/dry, dishwasher, microwave coffee, etc. as well as internet and cable to keep in touch with work. Easy access to beach and park directly across the street. Kihei is conveniently located short drive from airport and Maalea port for excursions. All necessities in town. Also short drive to Paia for surf and to start trip on road to Hana.

  This is a nice rental. It was very close to the great swimming pool. Also easy walk across the street to the beach. The road noise was more than anticipated but not overwhelming. Wonderful shower!!! Nice remodel of bathroom and kitchen. Mediocre mattress. Obviously a thin mattress that came in a box. Should be replaced with regular mattress and box spring. The mattress was so thin the sheets were too thick on the sides and by morning were very askew. I don't know if you can even buy fitted sheets for these thin mattresses. Fitted sheets are designed with deep pockets. But they and the bath towels were nice quality. Plenty of towels. Great TV although we had to change the batteries in both. Wonderful new air conditioning and ceiling fans. We wished there was a table and chairs on the patio. There were just two lounge chairs. We could not eat any meals outdoors. Table with four chairs are not expensive and should be provided. We either ate in the living room or brought all our food across to eat by the pool. Plenty of tables out there. No noise problem with next door and upstairs neighbors.
  Any issues that came up were promptly taken care of. Next door had bugs and the bug spray company came the next day. We had no bugs. Our toilet seat cracked and they replaced it the next day. Very nice staff.

  Loved our stay in 102 at Hale Kamaole. Have stayed at Hale Kamaole numerous times and are booked to come again this fall. Love the property and its location, views, amenities and wonderful staff. This unit is modern, clean and despite being close to the street was very quiet at night. The modern AC units are silent and all accessories are available in this unit. Would stay in this unit any time and strongly recommend it for anyone coming to Maui.

  As 1st time visitors to Maui (& Hawaii) we loved the location and vibe of Kihei. The grounds of Hale Kamaole were immaculate, the condo has been beautifully updated and we enjoyed our vacation immensely. My only feedback was that the bed was way too soft due to the lg. foam topper and the sheets were too small. The kitchen was fully stocked with great supplies to pack a picnic or snacks. My only comment for HK is that this property is not as family friendly as advertised which was disappointing to see. We were travelling with a family who are repeat customers and they made the same observation and noted how much it has changed over the years. So many passive aggressive rule lists & signs randomly posted. Other than that, We have been home for less than 48hours and already day dreaming of our next visit to Maui and Unit 102. Mahalo!

  This was the perfect place to stay for our Maui getaway. It was a two minute walk to the beach with amazing views. The staff is super friendly and welcoming - they gave great recommendations for restaurants and excursions during our stay. We stayed in unit 102 which was very cozy and not to mention GORGEOUS. It had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay! The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. They also had towels, snorkel gear, chairs, and umbrellas to take to the beach. Just... ahhhh! This was the perfect, most amazing spot! We will definitely be staying here again!

  This was the perfect home base during our stay on Maui. The place was very clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, and in a perfect location. Located directly across from the beach and within walking distance of several restaurants, this is situated perfectly in Kihei. Being located in Kihei, we were also able to easily drive wherever we wanted on the island.
  
  This condo came with a fully stocked kitchen which was great for when we felt like staying in. It also came with beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella so you are fully prepared for a day at the beach.
  
  The only downside was the bed. The mattress is incredibly firm, like you’re sleeping on the floor firm. I would definitely look into getting a new mattress in there soon.

  My boyfriend and I were here for 8 days and it was incredible. The condo was very clean and had a lot of the essentials you need which was nice. Things like sandwich bags, soap ect. The location was perfect. We loved our stay on the island.
  The only two downsides would be the bed kinda goes Into a big sink hole after laying on it. But we still managed to sleep ok.
  And not related to the condo we rented a jeep and our battery was stolen from it while it was parked outside of the condo.

  Very nice property and right across the street is a huge field and beach where we could sit and watch the sunset every night. The property comes with all the amenities that is better than a resort. We got to do our laundry which is a plus with all the wet towels and swimsuits from the beach and the pool. Only thing that is needed, is some kinda shelving or shower hanger for your shampoos and soaps instead of leaving it on the floor of the shower. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

  Awesome location, you can watch the sunset from the lani. unit was clean and as advertised, could use an update(carpet in the living room) but when you are only in the unit in the evening it really doesn’t matter..although a king bed would be nice. Great service from the office...we asked for boogie boards and when we got back from the beach they were waiting in our unit. The beach chairs are looking a little fatigued but are working fine. Snorkel equipment in the storage but we had our own. No assigned parking but it was never a problem. Would stay again!
