Fabulous Ocean and Garden View – one of the BEST views on the property. There is new furniture and a king bed in the master bedroom, the loft has new furniture and a queen bed. Downstairs, the bedroom has new furniture with a king bed. The living room has wood flooring, new chairs, and a new sleeper sofa. The kitchen & both baths have been updated including tile flooring in the bath areas. There are flat screen TVs in the living room and the master bedroom. This family-friendly condo has a lot to offer!

  What an awesome condo! On site staff were fantastic to deal with. A few small problems were taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. The condo is well stocked, basically just bring your clothes. They had beach towels, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, boogie boards etc. I did mention to staff that the carpets needed cleaning, otherwise no complaints. Would definitely rent this place again

  We came to Maui for a beach wedding. Hale Kamala unit 341 is fantastic! Neat, clean, lanai closet fully stocked with plenty of beach toys. This rental unit was centrally located for all the wedding events as well as easy day trips around Maui.
  Our family was able to make use of the outdoor bar b ques and all 30 of us enjoyed a fun filled evening before the wedding!
  This location allowed me to walk to both Kihei and Wailea for shops, beaches and dining.
  The week went by too fast but we will be back.

  Overall stay for family of 6 was great. The condo is in a great location right across from the beach and had a great view of the sunsets from the balcony. It is on the 3rd floor so you have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to the condo, but there is an elevator as well. The condo was clean and furniture in great shape. Kitchen was well stocked and the patio closet was stocked with many beach items. A couple minor things to address is the screen door lock isn’t working, and one of the pendant lights still flickers as mentioned in a previous review. Although there are multiple ceiling fans throughout, only the bedrooms have an ac unit so the condo can be warm. I contacted the management staff because of Wi-Fi issues and someone came very quick to resolve the issue.

  Overall good experience. It is in a nice location, close to the beach and restaurants . Quiet neighbourhood. It was nice the condo had knee boards and beach chairs to use as well. Pool looked nice, but we didn't use it.
  However, some things that could be improved. There were no extra garbage bags in the condo, not one. No dishwasher soap at all. One of the kitchen LED kitchen lights was flickering and needed to be replaced, which was annoying, so we ended up removing the bulb. No WIFI password on arrival, we had to phone the office to get it, which is odd. It would be much easier if the password was left in the condo, such as stuck on the fridge or on the coffee table. Wrong coffee filters were left for the coffee maker. The walls of the condo are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbours very well.

  Our unit was conveniently close to the pool. It was clean and spacious. The bedrooms could use some blackout curtains or sound deadening drapes as the rooms get quite bright in the morning and the sounds of the birds/roosters/recycling trucks are quite noisy. A floor or tower fan in the living room would also be nice as it can get really warm and the ceiling fan is unable to move enough hot air out to the lanai. The mattresses are very comfy but ultimately too soft for a good night’s sleep, but that is subjective to the sleeper.

  Great condo. The best part was the lanai, with beautiful sunset view and large table. We spent more time out there than in the indoor living area! Top floor, quiet. AC in both bedrooms. Ceiling fans were sufficient to cool main-floor (non-master) bedroom and living room (October, temperature in the 80's), except the sleeper sofa area in the loft was warm. Brief walk to the beach (back of complex, but across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III). Keawakapu Beach is a much nicer beach and a quick walk, only 0.5 miles away.

  We rented the condo for 5 weeks to visit our daughter and wait for the arrival of her first baby. It was an excellent home away from home! The condo is clean and well stocked with linens, cookware, beach towels as well as toys and chairs for the beach. The most beautiful beaches are just a short walk away and within a 15 or 20 minute walk you can find shops and restaurants. The pool was nice to have and was never crowded. It was well-maintained and very clean. We had one maintenance issue early in our stay and it was addressed almost immediately. Even though we weren’t there for a vacation, the complex offers a concierge for booking excursions.

  Our family of 3 stayed at Hale Kamaole unit 341 in March of 2021. We were upgraded to 341 from another unit due to plumbing leak in our original unit. We much preferred 341 as 1) it has nice loft, 2) Hard wood floors, 3) Better porch and view of the ocean/sunsets, 4) Nice kitchen, and 5) Since it is further back, it was quieter.

  Unit 341 is located in the back of the property on the 3rd floor and has absolutely amazing views of the ocean..   We had a wonderful stay in unit 341 at The Hake Kamaole. The unit was clean, well stocked, and roomy for 2 couples. The view from the lanai was awesome! The property is beautiful and very well maintained.
  The pool and BBQ area were great and we appreciated the quiet location. The only suggestion we have is that the bedrooms could use curtains over the blinds to keep the early morning sun out. The beach across the street from
  the condo is amazing with lots of sand and you can swim with the turtles! This location is very close to Wailea and off the beaten track of Kihei. There are a couple of restaurants/bars within walking distance or else you can drive, catch the bus, or the Turtle transit!

  # 341 had a very nice ocean view. The condo was nice but I would not advertise that it sleeps 6 people. The 2 bedrooms were fine, but the sofa bed in the loft was way too small & the room so tight that you could not walk around with the bed open, no place for luggage, clothes & personal items. Not suitable for a bedroom. The kitchen was well equipted The property was excellently maintained. We enjoyed the beach & that it was so close. The restaurants in Wailea were very good. We are looking forward to returning.

  We heard about the complex from our neighbour who had stayed there in November and loved it. We felt very lucky to find a unit available that could accommodate 4 adults and 2 children for our week in Kihei. The highlight was the clean public park and beach right across the street that we all enjoyed whether just walking or going for a swim. The property was well maintained both the common grounds with two swimming pools and our individual unit. We had plenty of room in the condo for us all and found the kitchen well stocked with equipment to make cooking easy and fun. We found the complex location very convenient with all the amenities we needed to make our visit fun and entertaining. We will recommend the complex and our specific unit to others with no hesitation.
