Great Ocean View. End unit with a large extra window bringing in a lot of light to dining room and living area. Very comfortable easy chairs, tropical print on rattan couch. Art work is very Hawaiian. King bed in bedroom with queen hide-a-bed in living room. Large flat screen TVs in living room and bedroom. Nice condo, well equipped.

  Even though unit 152 is dated and could use some updating, it is still one of the best located condos.
  Some of the kitchen supplies were lacking, but over all, we enjoyed our stay. The Hale Kamaole property is wonderful!

  As usual, the grounds are immaculately maintained and we love all the facilities. The unit is in need of some updating however. This is our third time staying in this particular unit (we love the location). There is carpeting in the living room area that appears stained (we actually had the carpet steam cleaned by your trade person last time we were there). The dishes are getting quite beat up and there is very little cutlery available in the unit. The door to the patio has never lock

  Ground floor was excellent and had no trouble finding parking nearest our unit. Unit was at the far end of development and we spent most of our time on the lanai because of the great view. Near pool and bbq and enjoyed both. Could use more shade by the pool as there were only 2 large umbrellas. Excellent maintenance of the grounds. Bed in the unit was very comfortable and air conditioning ok but noisy. This unit could benefit from updating of the decor but we were outside most of the time. Got shade on lanai in the morning until about 1 or 2pm. Also could use a deep cleaning. Screen door very noisy. Had all the beach extras we wanted - chairs and umbrella. I would definitely come back to this complex but would choose a more updated unit.

  We enjoyed our stay so much, the Complex and Unit where in great shape and the location you can't beat. The property description was accurate and we enjoyed the pool and local beaches you can't beat South Kihei and Wailea beaches for swimming and snorkelling and watching turtles. There are many restuarants near by as well as a quick Uber to other restaurants in Wailea. Fabulous comfort's of home. Thank you!

  A nice corner unit with lots of light and great patio views. Perfect spot to sit outside as the complex bbq smoke didn't reach us and we were very close to the pool.
  The walk to the beach was quick and easy and good restaurants nearby.

  This is the third time we have stayed at Hale Kamaole and 2nd time in unit #152. The complex property is very well maintained and is as described on the website. Unit 152 is a great location close to the BBQ and pool. It could use a bit of TLC especially the stained carpet. We had a few ants, but not a big deal, there was spray in the cupboard. The owner supplied a great selection of beach gear! I would recommend this unit. We enjoyed the Redline whale watching tour which departs right across the street at the Kihei boat ramp.

  The unit was clean although very dated. The carpet in front room was very spotted and looked bad. Both tv's outdated, unable to stream. Back bedroom tv sound volume has a mind of its own. The view made all little things ok. Overall this unit is a good condo with one of the best views, saw countless whale's right from condo.

  We go to Maui just about every year. This condo was one of the best places we've stayed. It was more like staying at a friends home, it was so well equipped with everything you need and more. A lot of very nice touches, and being a cook, I can honestly say, the kitchen had everything you need and more! Bed was comfortable, the furniture and decor updated and clean. The location was fabulous and the view even better! Oh, also people in the other units were very respectful of the other guests as far as noise. I hope to be back soon

  Stayed for one month in #152 it was a great condo. Everything we needed was there to use (beach supplies were a plus). Location of condo was fabulous, caught a lot of sunsets from the lanai. Few minutes walking distance to beach. Restaurants were in walking distance. Plenty of parking onsite. We did have to drive to local supermarket. Our toddler loved the pool and lawn area to play. Pool and bbq area only feet away from the condo. Overall we had a great time in Kihei at Hale Kamaole we do recommend and will stay here again.

  Could use some modern decor & maintenance updates, but location can't be beat, with amazing ocean and sunset view even from inside the condo! Condo was bright, clean and comfortable with air conditioning in bedroom AND living room, although bedroom A/C and microwave can't be used at the same time without throwing the breaker. Comfy bed and plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels. Well stocked kitchen, the only things I found lacking was a cookie sheet and casserole dish.

  We are returning guests and love the Hake Kameole condos. First time in 152 and now we think that is the best suite. But don't want the word to get around or else we cannot book it for demand!   This was our 5th time at Hale Kamaole, 3rd different unit. Our favourite so far. 152 is close to the pool and bbq’s, yet far enough from the road, nice and quiet. The trade off is the walk to the beach being a bit longer from up top. Honestly have never had a bad experience at HK!

  Hale Kamaole is in a great location on S. Kihei Rd, near great beaches, shopping and restaurants. The property was dated but comfortable and well maintained. This is not an issue as most of our time was spent outside of the room. The condo is located on the first floor corner unit offering some privacy, but close to the pool and bbq. Our favorite area was the lanai, with a great view of the sunset.

  The unit is quiet, clean and well-placed in the complex, being near the pool and BBQ grills. It faces west and seeing a great sunset involves walking out onto the lanai! A nice breeze happens every afternoon and strategically placed ceiling fans allowed us to ignore the air conditioning. An in-suite washer and dryer came in very handy and some basics like salt/ pepper/ sugar were already there when we arrived. The bathroom is basic but certainly adequate for a vacation rental and plenty of towels, beach and regular, were available. Beach chairs, a cooler and pool noodles were among some of the handy beach equipment available from the outside storage closet, a very nice touch.

  WE chose Hale Kamaole and specifically unit #152 as recommended by friends, and we were not disappointed. As our flight was arriving late, I phoned the office the day before and asked them to leave the unit open and to put the keys on the counter, which they did. A perfect start! The unit was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for 2. I am not sure that having 2 more people sleeping in the living room on the pull out couch would be as enjoyable. The location of #152 is the best! Ground floor, a short walk from the lani to the BBQ and pool and an ocean view! We watched the beautiful sunsets each night. The grounds were very well kept with the BBQs being cleaned every morning. We found a new beach each day (the Maui book in the unit was great!) and had our best meal at FRED'S for Taco Tuesday. We booked an extra night because of a 10:40pm flight home and that was well worth the money to have the last full day and dinner at the condo. We will defiantly return and tell others about this gem in Kihei.
