The complex is located directly across from Kamaole III State Beach Park, which is known as one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in the Islands. There are two pools, a covered pavilion, and a full size tennis court on the property. Every evening the outdoor barbecue area is a popular spot to socialize while grilling the perfect dinner and watching as the Hale Kamaole conch shell band performs their nightly sunset ritual. You will find world class golf courses, fantastic snorkeling and diving, many Maui activities, abundant shopping and delicious fine and family dining all within minutes of Hale Kamaole.

  We have stayed at Hale Kamaole many times in various units, and 218 was by far our favourite. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked including a vast array of spices, good dishes and utensils. The place was comfortable and very clean and it’s obvious the owners take good care of it. The location on the property couldn’t be better. All around a very nice unit!

  Hi, we had a great stay in condo 218. Pros - ocean sunset, awesome fresh spice selection, olive oil,balsamic,coffee grinder/maker etc. Robert and Doreen very helpfull. Well stocked beach stuff. Great TV selection. Grounds well kept. Pickle ball nets are VG. Cons. Need new fry pan and 1 sharp knife (bought our own), Wifi didn't work on arrival. Robert fixed next day by rebooting. TV-suggest some written instructions on finding spectrum and Netflex(just 4 or 5 points needed). BBq's ran out of propane 2x but both were replaced by end of stay. Another beach umbrella by lower pool would help. Thanks Again for everything. We will be back....

  We love staying at Hale Kamaole. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the complex is quiet and right across the street from the beach.   We loved the location. The condo had everything we need. The air conditioning in the bedroom was good. Kids were a little on the warm side on the sofa bed.
  The pool was always clean and could always find a spot to sit. The grounds were immaculate and the view from the balcony was great. Loved watching the sunsets from there. Enjoyed time at the tennis court as well. We were always able to find a parking spot.

  The condo (unit 218) was lovely! Spacious, ocean view, super clean and the kitchen had every utensil and appliance we needed. The outdoor grill area was great too. I would absolutely stay here again! Only two issues: (1) the outdoor fire alarm was broken for a few days which was really loud and disruptive, and it took the management too long (three days) to fix it; (2) the bed in the unit is King size, but the two sets of sheets provided were Queen size! I asked the concierge for a King size set of sheets, and he said he would contact housekeeping, but he never followed up, so we bought a new King size set of sheets up at the Ross store and left them there when we departed. It was more funny than inconvenient.

  Kihei is a beautiful side of the island. Lots of tourist attractions and sandy beaches.
  Our vacation rental was on the second level and very well maintained. It was clean and felt homey. The pull out mattress was great for our little guy as we slept in the room with the king size bed.
  The bed was extremely comfortable and the shades kept the heat out.
  
  Night life was quiet in the plaza and the yard was clean and well maintained for us to run around in.
  I would definitely stay again!

  I enjoyed staying in this 1 BR condo because it was well-located for not having a car. I could walk across the street to Kam 3 or just down the trail to Keawakapu beaches. I could walk to restaurants like Coconuts or Cafe O'Lei and to Hawaiian Moon Natural Grocery and Whaler's Gen Store. The unit had a fully stocked kitchen and all the beach toys you could need. The bed and shower were super nice. My only wish would be for whole unit AC, not just the bedroom. This unit gets full sun so in hotter months this would make it unpleasant, esp since quiet hours mean you can't run the AC after 10pm.

  Our stay was great, as always. The units were clean and ready when promised. The staff was helpful for booking, etc. and not needed until leaving. Since we have stayed many times the units were exactly what we expected. We had never stayed in a second floor one bedroom but it was great. The only negative, the lanai had bar stool height chairs. A minor complaint but where do all the condiments and things like zip lock bags, etc, go after each persons stay? Is it asking too much to leave them in the unit for the next persons stay?
