Bright, airy corner unit with breathtaking ocean views and relaxing breezes – Enjoy an early morning cup of coffee with the native birds while overlooking the lush green vegetation of the Hale Kamaole complex and the sapphire ocean beyond.

Our Maui Vacation condo sleeps six and is perfect for families or couples vacationing together. We offer a King size bed in the Master Bedroom, a Queen size bed in the Downstairs Bedroom, and a Queen size sofa bed in the Loft. The Master Bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub. Wall mounted flat screen TV’s are located in each bedroom, as well as a new 4K TV in the Living Room. Air Conditioners. A fully equipped Kitchen features new appliances and the unit has been recently redesigned with new paint, carpet, window treatments and rattan furniture with a tropical theme to provide the ideal setting for the Maui state of mind. It has ceiling fans in all rooms, washer/dryer, cable TV, free WI-FI, and free telephone service to over twenty countries, including Canada and the mainland.

This is a NON Smoking unit. Designated smoking areas are located around the complex. Hale Kamaole is just a two minute walk from Kama’ole Beach Park III, where milder tides, full facilities and a lifeguard post makes for a low stress, family atmosphere. “Kam III” received a 5-star rating in Mauiguidebook.com and is one of Maui’s favorite beaches.

Spend the afternoon at one of two pools in the complex or socialize with other vacationers at one of two poolside barbecue stations while grilling that night’s dinner as the day fades. Each barbecue station features four charcoal grills and two propane grills. At the end of a relaxing day, marvel at an iconic sunset that includes the historic tradition of blowing a conch shell to signify the cumulation of a peaceful day on the Valley Isle from your patio. Walking distance to south Kihei’s shops and restaurants and located just minutes away from world class golf at Wailea.

  The condo is perfect for our needs. It's clean and in excellent condition. It's super convenient to get to Kam 3 and Kam 2 (Kam 2 is further but worth the little bit longer walk) .
  
  It's nice to have the A/C in the living room area as well, especially since we're not used to the heat.
  
  The only things I'd suggest are:
  - Better mattress in the downstairs bedroom
  - Multiple wash clothes instead of a sponge in the kitchen

  This unit is one of the best we’ve had the opportunity to spend vacation time in. The location, cleanliness and accommodations were absolutely outstanding. It sleeps 6 adults very comfortably. From kitchen utensils , beach toys and chairs, games and the like, there wasn’t much the owners hadn’t provided. The complex has two large pools, pickle ball courts and plenty of outdoor bbqs. Unlike other property rentals, you actually do get exactly what the photos show. I would love to come back and enjoy this amazing and beautiful property with the family again ❤️

  The condo was super clean and nicely updated. The space was great for my family of 2 adults, 3 teens, and 1 child. This unit was at the top of the complex which made parking easy but did add a little extra excercise when trekking down to the beach area. There were AC units in the main area and bedrooms which was nice.
  
  It's nice and close to Kamaole 3 (a little bigger for waves) and Kamaole 2 (great for swimming) so we walked to Kam 2 most of the time. It's just short stroll to some food shops and souvenir shops as well.
  
  This was a great place to stay and I'd certainly come back to this unit. There are two minor improvements that would make it an even better experience:
  
  - Upgrade the beds to a memory foam type mattress as the spring beds are a little bouncy (pillow upgrades too)
  - Upgrade the AC units to a quieter model as these ones were a little loud to run at night

  We always love Hale Kamaole! It is a great family friendly complex! Unit 344 was well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach towels and a full lanai closet! Love the beach chairs and umbrella! The ice maker was not working and the bathroom cabinet hinges were about to fall off. Two small repairs to be aware of.

  Group of ladies that were suppose to be in Maui in 2020! Thanks a lot Covid! We were able to extend our vacation to 2021! On lay turned 61, another finished breast cancer treatment, another had a issue with spouse, the others just delt with Covid stuff! this trip was absolutely magical! Hale Kam was at least 95% responsible for the magic! The condo 4 of us stayed in was perfect! Lovely decor and air conditioned throughout the unit! Kitchen fully equipped. Lots of beach towels, chairs, umbrella, stuff! The Hale Kam grounds are gorgeous! Two great pools! Kim beach 3 right across the street! Management top notch! We love this place!

  Unit #344 has everything needed for a great vacation. The balcony area is a bit small when you have 6 adults in the condo but don't let that keep you away from this condo. We could watch the whales while having our morning coffee! Kitchen was well stocked, good supply of towels and linens. Just a short walk to the beach. There were 5 folding beach chairs which we used daily. The loft area had a hide a bed which was adequate but could use an upgrade to the mattress. Thank you for a great week!

  It was my families first time in Maui and we couldn't have been happier with the location and our unit. Everything described on the website was exactly how it was when we arrived. The unit itself is great for a family, we stayed with our children who are young adults now and it gave us the space and privacy that we all needed.   We loved our stay at #344 Hale Kamaole. The location in Kihei is great, directly across the street from Kam III which is a beautiful beach perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The complex is lovely and staff work everyday maintaining the property. Staff at the front office are also very helpful and efficient. The condo itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and having the loft was an added bonus. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. We also loved having access to the beach chairs, boogie boards, and snorkelling equipment. The ceiling fans and AC in the main living area and bedrooms were much appreciated as the temperature outside didn't drop below 93 during the day. And we also liked that the complex was quiet.

  When we arrived we were placed in 245 which was load due to construction next door. 245 was not very clean as I had to vacuum the upstairs bathroom due to all the hair on the floor. The bedding wasn’t very fresh and the refrigerator was leaking water from the freezer on the the top shelf. I was very pleased when Nathan moved us to 344 due to construction next door. 344 was a complete relief, very clean fresh linen and beautiful place to stay. I would recommend 344 to my friends and family. I appreciated the cleanliness of the property. We grilled every evening and was happy to start every evening with a clean grill. The location of the property was perfect for our stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience 344. The first 24 hours in 245 was disappointing.

  We had stayed at this complex 20 years ago and wanted to come back for nostalgia, this time with my wife and toddler. Unit was clean, grounds were well kept, much like we remember it. We had mold in the washing machine, which was reported to the management and they came out to clean immediately. ALso an overhead light kept turning on in the middle of the night, again reported and fixed quickly, but annoying nonetheless. And we had a bee issue on the balcony as well as entrance to the unit, which wasn't great due to my wifes severe allergy. But all in all, we enjoyed the unit and its location. Kihei is so much busier than I remember; definitely not the "unpopular" side of the island anymore. For a simple condo we were happy. Thanks again to the friendly management.

  This is the second time we stay at Hale Kamaole. The first time was in 2000 and we returned because of the roomy condos and great location. The second visit didn't disappoint. We stayed in 2 different units (we booked late and took what was available) and the second unit was 344. What is great about these condos is that you have a loft with sleeping accommodations, which is almost basically like a 3-bedroom, without the huge cost. My husband and I were in the master upstairs, our 2 boys in the loft and my parents in the downstairs bedroom. This is great because everyone has their own personal space and there is no need for anyone to sleep in the common space of the living room. Everything was great. The unit was clean, the AC worked, the appliances worked and the kitchen was well stocked with typical everyday utensils, cooking tools and dishes. The only suggestion I would have: More blankets are needed. When we asked housekeeping, we were told that we had to make-do with what was there. The other condo we stayed at had no shortage of blankets. Gigi from housekeeping was amazing, she was very accommodating when we transferred from unit to unit. We were given an extension from one unit and 344 was available earlier - which means we were not stuck without a unit for any portion of the day. This is very important when travelling with kids. I would definitely recommend Hale Kamaole to anyone visiting Maui. Great family atmosphere, quiet place at night for a good sleep and the common areas (pool, BBQs) are super. The grounds are well-maintained and very clean! The only other suggestion I would have is for the service office to have an updated list of available medical clinics and their location. We had to take my mother to see a doctor and I had to figure out where was the nearest clinic and their opening hours and parking fees. In the main office, the only suggestion was a clinic that was closed the day we needed help (Saturday).

  This was definitely the best unit (we stayed in one about 16 years ago which was excellent but this was better).
  There was 3 of us staying in the unit including our 27 year old son. He finally got his own room (and bathroom) and not having to sleep on a sofa bed like every other time.
  The unit was super clean, fully accessorized and a great view of the ocean from the balcony.
  We only dealt with the property management at check-in but she was friendly thorough and had a package all ready for us upon arrival. If we ever go back that is the unit we will try to get. 5 out 5 Overall rating for sure.

  This is our third visit to Hale Kamaole and it feels like a place that keeps drawing us back. Our adult children joined us for 10 days in this unit and we had a fantastic time. We really like being at the back of the complex because it's generally quiet and the view is great. The property is immaculately maintained and always clean and the office staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommended a couple of unit upgrades that would make it a little more comfortable, but it's generally a really great spot.
