This Fabulous, Maui Vacation Rental unit #174, has it all. The owners of this condo also owns unit 176, both of which have been completely remodeled from top to bottom recently. Occupancy of these units is limited to only 2 adults. Ocean & garden views from the well outfitted Lanai. Completely remodeled from top to bottom in 2017. Bedroom features New King bed, 2-night stands and standing 4 drawer dressers. Bedroom have had new wood closets installed and they are well organized with plenty of room for storage. Full kitchen has been upgraded with top of the line appliance and new cabinets, topped with granite counter tops. All new dishes pots and pans, silverware, etc., etc. This Maui Kihei Rental is simply Elegant & Modern. Living room and dining room area is very spacious. Artwork very tasteful. Most exciting is this unit is it equipped with a state-of-the-art split AC unit in the living room. Stay cool and comfortable in your home away from home. From the Beach towels to bedding top notch.   We had a great time in 174 for 4 weeks. This is the third time renting a place at Hale Kamaole we just love the beach and park so close just a quick walk across the street. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. There were even spices so great because we cook all our meals. The place was clean and well-kept. It would have been better to use a laundry detergent that didn't have a fragrance. I had to rewash the linen with just water to stop sneezing. The couch could use an update. But I still give the condo a thumbs up and we are looking forward to staying again next year.

  We have stayed in other units in Hale Kamaole previously and they were ok. Comfortable but just okay. Unit 174 blew us out of the water for how beautifully decorated, well thought out and well stocked it was. We were not sure about being on the ground level but other than 1 or 2 nights we were never disturbed by people overhead. The central air conditioning was especially appreciated on some of the more muggy days and allowing for a sweat free nights sleep. Our only disappointment was we can't seem to book for when we want to return next year!

  Hale Kamaole 174 exceeded our expectations and made our 1st trip to Maui an awesome experience. We were greeted with a nice welcome package that included a pineapple, coffee and mac nuts - YUM! The unit was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay like being at home. The grounds are impeccable, pool and BBQ's clean and easy to use, and you can't beat being able to walk across the street to the beach. We enjoyed sunsets there every night and we even saw whales during the day from our Lanai. The unit was stocked with all of the beach goodies you would need, making trips to the beach effortless. We loved it so much that we already booked our 2nd stay! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

  It's a beautiful condo and very well stocked with dishes & beach chairs etc. We loved the location and could see the ocean from our lanai and only steps away from the pool. The welcome basket was a very nice touch and greatly appreciated! The only complaint is the hide-a-bed, we didn't use it for sleeping but only to sit on and found it's very firm and uncomfortable. Also the swivel chair could use a steam cleaning due to its light color but it was comfy. Thankyou for allowing us to make this our home away from home for 2 weeks!

  This rental was exceptional. Clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could think of. The management was great, we had to call them in to get the tv going and they were very prompt and helpful.
  Access to the beach was right across the street, just walk out your door and there is a good morning walk along the beach to see turtles, surf, birds, and flowers. We did many activities including the Road to Hana,( where we were picked up at the rental), the Whale watching cruise, saw several whales, attended a luau, and visited the Aquarium, and much more, many beautiful beaches close by to visit.
  I would totally recommend this property, great customer service, great location, and an overall great experience.

  This condo was spacious and well kept. The place looked newly renovated and I loved all the phone beach décor. We had our lanai which was on the ground floor and just loved waking up and having coffee out there and at night watching the fabulous sunsets. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone. Close enough to walk to town or a quick drive. The beach was literally across the street!

  Very much enjoyed our 2 week stay November of 2021. The condo was clean, comfortable, nicely stocked and updated. Location in the complex is great. Though we didn't really need much from the complex management, they were friendly and available to assist. (just needed some batteries for the AC remote). We didn't use the main AC very often. AC is a newer split unit which works well and is quiet. Having AC available in the bedroom was nice. We would stay again.

  The accommodation is superb and there is everything you can dream of having in a kitchen. Everything is new and well organized.
  The only disappointment is that the pool is very small but close to the apartment and the beach is separated by the street and not directly connected. By cons we came to visit the island and not spent the day at the pool.
  A wonderful view for the sunset and the bed is ultra comfortable.
  Chairs, parasol and small cooler were very appreciated.
  The staff on site are very friendly and professional.

Although we didn't report it, one would think the Association would insist that Spectrum would provide services (TV in particular) without having to request their service during our stay. Very nice unit - but a knife sharpener would be helpful - dull knives make cooking a meal a pain (literally and figuratively). It's the details we remember... :(

  After having stayed in many hotels in Maui, this was our first experience staying in a condo. We will never stay in a hotel again! This unit was recently refurbished with very nice furniture and decorations. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with all of the utensils and appliances you need to make full meals. Its location is perfect - the lanai and living room have a beautiful view and it is a very short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever visited. There were three very nice beach chairs and umbrellas so we didn't need to go to the rental store. Something that we really appreciated is that we didn't need to buy the basics (soap, paper towels, salt, pepper, etc.) as we very often do when we rent apartments. Our only (small) complaint was that, since it is on the ground floor, if there are noisy tenants upstairs (and there were kids who must have had a pogo stick up there for our last few days) you hear everything. Highly recommend this place and we have already reserved our time next year.

  My wife and I recently stayed at the Hale Kamaole in unit 174. The complex as a whole is clean and well maintained; there's parking right in front of each unit; there's a pool; the complex is right across the street from Kamaole Beach Park 3. Overall, a very nice place to stay.
  
  The unit itself was very clean. The decor is lovely. There is air conditioning in the living room and the bedroom, so we were perfectly comfortable regardless of the weather. The living room has a large smart TV, and the couch folds out into a bed. The bedroom has a king sized bed. There's umbrellas and beach chairs in the storage unit just outside the back door.
  
  Everything was perfect; we would stay at the Hale Kamaole again. And if unit 174 was available, we would definitely book it.

  My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Hale Kamole unit 174. We stayed in this complex two years ago due to the amazing location and will come back. Moving forward, we will only stay in unit 174. It is so beautifully remodeled and the view is perfect. Sunset is perfect from your back porch and you feel secluded and remote. The unit has amazing air conditioning for the extra hot Hawaiian days. I would recommend everyone staying here on their next visit to Maui, you will not be disappointed.

  174 is absolutely gorgeous! Everything from the furniture, decor, dishes..etc. The bed is so comfortable we didn't want to leave it! Patio furniture is the best, beautiful and so perfect. We've seen many of the units and this is by far the most stunning! We can't wait to go back! The owners have obviously worked hard on this unit to make their guests happy!

  My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was very clean and loved that it was new and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the ac units in the bedroom and living room worked great. The location is awesome, directly across from Kam 3 beach and the pool and tennis court in the complex were very nice (but bring your own rackets!). Our only complaint would have to be that there is no internet. It had said it was a part of the amenities with the unit and in the unit it gave us some pretty vague instructions. We ended up calling Management the next morning and it turned out there was no modem or internet in the unit. Management ended up giving us the log in information for the neighboring unit. That worked for us while we were there but it didn't seem like they were planning to fix that any time soon, at least not for the week we were there. The other negative was that you couldn't have a hot shower only lukewarm. It seemed like there was a regulator put on the shower to prevent you from turning it hot, somewhat frustrating! Overall we loved the place and would absolutely come back, just a couple minor tweaks they need to change for it to be perfect!

Although we gave you the wifi access to the unit next door, we do apologize that the wifi in your specific unit wasn't fixed until the end of your stay, as spectrum gives us their soonest callback time. We were not advised about the hot water heater, but we will have the association check on that immediately! Thank you for the feedback, Kelsey.

  Absolutely amazing modern update on this condo! Stayed 11 days. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing me to sleep better than I have in a long time!
