This Modern, Maui Vacation Rental unit #176, has it all. The owner of this condo also owns unit 170, both of which have been completely remodeled from top to bottom recently. Occupancy of these units is limited to only 2 adults. Ocean & garden views from the well outfitted Lanai. Completely remodeled from top to bottom in the last year. Bedroom features New King bed, 2-night stands and standing 4 drawer dressers. Bedroom has new wood closets installed and they are well organized with plenty of room for storage. Full kitchen has been upgraded with top of the line appliance and new cabinets, topped with granite counter tops. All new dishes pots and pans, silverware, etc., etc. This Kihei Maui Rental is simply Elegant & Modern. Living room and dining room area is very spacious. Artwork very tasteful. Most exciting is this unit is it equipped with a state-of-the-art split AC unit in the living room and bedroom. Stay cool and comfortable in your home away from home.   Great ground floor 1BR in closest building to Kihei Rd right across from the beach. Some road noise, but ocean view was worth it to us as we saw lots of whales. Pool area very close to the unit and was relaxing and family friendly. Bed was reasonably comfortable and breeze with doors open made AC unnecessary. We would rent this unit again.

  Starting with Nicole at the front desk...She was so helpful and kind walking us though making our reservation and then so friendly on our arrival! #176 was the perfect setting to celebrate our 25th wedding ! anniversary! We loved that everything was so clean and all of the necessities were easily available. (Towels, blankets, beach gear).
  The ocean views were spectacular and the fact that the beach was literally across the street made our trip extra special!

  We have rented this unit before and knew what to expect. Our one month stay was excellent and we can't wait to return. This unit is very comfortable and has great features. Most of everything is at the higher end; such as furniture, a?c, kitchen appliances. One drawback was the poor television package. It only showed frre stations from the past and streamed broadcasts from some of the major broadcasters. Zero sports, we even missed the Super Bowl. This is minor and not what Kihei is about.

The condo is well furnished in a more modern way and it's proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in Maui is its biggest attraction. My wish/gentle request is that the owners would put a pullout couch in the living room for those who may be sharing the condo as friends or in our case, mother/daughter, and would prefer to have separate sleeping arrangements. Aside from that, we love the layout of the condo and it's always well stocked with all the essentials. We've tried other vacation rentals and have finally found our home away from home.   Outstanding location and close to everything. Beach is across the street and pool is 15 yards away. The condo is fully equipped with everything that one can ask for.   We have stayed at the Hale Kamaole several times in the past 8 years and this unit is one of our favourites. It was nice to arrive after a long day and find that we had a pineapple, papaya, chocolates and coffee for the morning. The unit is very well supplied. It is a little close to the road but that makes it handy for the beach. We did not find that the traffic noise was all that bothersome when we sat out on the deck. I would rent it again.

  In Oct. 2018 we stayed for several days in suite #176, of Hale Kamaole. The suite was very clean, and well updated, new appliances, counters and cupboards. The air conditioning worked excellent, and the suite was easy to cool. It was a ground level suite, which was nice, with the beach being about 1 minute away. The beach was nice and sandy, with lifeguards on duty during the day, and we were pleased to observe sea turtles in the water on several occasions. Stores and restaurants were within a five to 10 minute drive, or if you were energetic, you could walk to them. Overall a very good experience!

  The owner renovations were very well thought out and really enhanced the enjoyment of our stay. The kitchen utensils, amenities and even the spice rack were very much appreciated. We really enjoyed the location; very close to the beach and town access, which meant we easily enjoyed what Maui had to offer.
  
  We would recommend this location and unit to others for sure.
  
  Beyond the control of the owner is the guest(s) above you. We happened to have a guest with a walker above us for a few nights. An interesting noise to wake up to.
  
  The owners have added a two zone high-end memory foam bed that adjusts and tilts. Our preference is a regular style bed as the memory foam does not work for us, but if you like these type of beds, this one is for you.

  We loved staying in unit 176. Wonderfully appointed with all the necessities needed to make a wonderful stay. Very nicely updated and beautiful. Air conditioning worked very well. Wonderful ocean view. Nice and comfortable king size bed with adjustable mattress.
  
  The lovely island floral bouquet and basket of yummy goodies to welcome us was appreciated and thoughtful.
  
  Great to have a good washer, dryer and dishwasher to use during our stay.
  
  Would have loved to have a DVD/CD player to play movies and listen to music or a recording of ocean waves to play while in the back bedroom to pull to sleep.
  
  Only negative downfall was the loud neighbors above us.
  
  Would definitely recommend and love to return to visit again. Mahal! Thank you!

  This was the first time we stayed in this condo and we were delighted with the amenities. It was one of the best stocked condos we've ever visited. We also enjoyed having air conditioning. The only minor complaint is that it is close to the road and when sitting Outside it's hard to hear one another due to car traffic. The people in the office were lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this condo.
