  This was a decent rental for our family of 4. Looks like it was renovated recently. The rooms, the living area and the balcony are small for the price we paid. Location is great as it is walking distance to the beach. There are huge number of vacation rentals and hotels in the area.

  This condo was absolutely perfect. It has been well taken care of. It looked as it did in the photographs. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, we were provided with all the things we needed (plates, cups towels, extra bedding, things for the beach) and a wonderful view!!!

  Very clean, hard floors downstairs, renovated, AC in the living room and bedrooms, newish carpet upstairs, comfortable beds with clean white bedding, fully stocked kitchen including rice cooker, super powerful small hair dryer, beach equipment/toys, towels and beach towels. This unit was perfect. A friend stayed in another unit there and they didn’t have AC in the living room and it was so uncomfortable. Also appreciated the tips from the owners about the area like when the farmer markets are, where to eat, etc... def would stay in this unit again.

  This condo is good for people who don't plan to stay inside most of the day. Eating on the balcony in the morning and evenings was our favorite part- the seating is comfortable and view of the water and sky is incredible. This older unit in need up some bathroom updates. The lanai closet is packed with beach fun (umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, a cooler, noodles, a cooler- definitely look here before purchasing anything!) Condo provides the essential items one would expect in kitchen.

  This was our second time staying in this unit. The location is great and overall the unit is well stocked and clean. We were disappointed that there were not usable beach chairs for our family this time. When we stayed in April 2022 there were 2 adult and 2 child beach chairs in great condition but this time there were only a couple of adult chairs that were barely usable.

  My family has enjoyed 17 stays at Hale Kamaole since 1994, in 7 different units. Obviously we love it here. The location, amenities, and friendly, responsive staff can't be beat. Frequent visitors like us recognize that each unit has its own "personality." What distinguishes unit 248? Several things. It is located at the quiet upper end of the complex. There is air conditioning in the living area as well as the bedrooms. Both bedrooms have exceptionally comfortable king beds. The wifi has been recently upgraded and is reliable and fast. The refrigerator is large and has an ice maker plumbed in, a nice convenience. The remodeled kitchen is the best we've experienced...plenty of space to work for multiple people, and you can have the dishwasher and fridge open at the same time! Finally, for a July vacation, there is an awesome view of the sunsets from the unit - no need to go anywhere to see it. We are very grateful to the owners for making their unit available for vacation rental.
